WORLD WIDE WEB
Short for World Wide Web, WWW, W3, or Web is a graphical interface for the Internet that was first introduced to the public on August 6, 1991 by Tim Berners-Lee. A few days later on August 23, 1991 it was available to everyone.
Tip: The WWW is different from the Internet although most people today think the WWW is the Internet.
What software allows you to access the WWW?
The world wide web consists of billions of pages linked to each other that contain text, graphics, multimedia files, and other interactive software that are accessed using a browser.
